For the last several months I’ve been working towards the SmartPilot event for the People & Computers group. The event is scheduled to be a professional summit between large organization’s IT managers and promising Israeli start-ups who are trying to develop the next big thing. The event will take place on February 8th, at the Avenue Convention Center at Airport City.
Tomorrow, I hope to officially launch the new website we’ve built for the convention, a lovely Ruby on Rails application built by Izhar Gavish, but you lucky StartUpMania readers are getting an exclusive first look at the schedule for the event and the list of presenters who will showcase their products before the IT managers.
All presenters in the various streams are founders of new and intriguing IT-oriented start-ups currently operating in Israel, all of which enjoy investments from Israeli venture capital funds. Some have even been a part of success stories in the local start-up and high-tech scene.
