cloadshare_logoTel Aviv-based IT Structures raised an additional ten million dollars in venture capital, in a secondary fund raising round. IT Structures, which provides a cloud virtualization platform for operating organizational program demos for technological pilots, has changed its name to CloudShare.

CloudeShare was founded by Zvi Guterman, founder of security start-up Safend, Ophir Kra-Oz, former manager of development of End-Point and VPN at Check Point, and Avner Rosen, former VP of product development at Safend. The company is trying to reduce the immense load born on software companies, and allow them to “skip” the tedious installation process that comes hand in hand with any technological pilot on a potential client’s system.

CloudShare, in this last investment round, saw investments from the venture capital funds Sequoia Capital, Gemini Capital and the American Charles River Ventures. With the completion of this latest round, the investments in CloudShare will reach $16 million.

The company reports several significant contracts with international IT giants such as VMWare, SAP and Cisco, all of which will showcase their new products using CloudShare’s platform. The company has also finished its integration with Salesforce.com’s CRM system, and thus allows an organization’s sales personnel to receive a constant report of the progress of a technical demo on a client’s system using the CloudShare platform, directly into their CRM system.

CloudShare will be on of the presenters in February’s SmartPilot convention.
