We have been informed that the venture capital funds Giza Venture Capitals from Tel-Aviv and the Jerusalem-based JVP have invested in the start-up XtremIO, which operates out of Galil-Yam.
XtremIO’s founder and CEO is Ehud Rokach, former CEO of Corrigent as well as the operation manager of Orckit. Yaron Segev, former VP of development of Voltaire, is an additional founder.
Among other high-tech big names involved with XtremIO is Shuki Barock, founder of Rainfinity, which was sold to EMC.
XtremIO, which develops an SSD-based storage appliance, refused to comment.
