Attention all fans of organizational IT related start-ups! Those who are interested in new data-center products should also pay close attention! Keep your eyes on Petascan (formerly Nxterra), a new start-up founded by Alexander Lazovsky, former CEO of Nareous, and Camuel Gilyadov, a former IT executive in Amdocs. Petascan’s development manager is David Gruzman.
The much-hailed new initiative promises to significantly improve large-scale database querying, especially DB2 and Oracle-based ones, all this while incorporating an external flash chip.
Petascan, which already managed to raise an initial venture capital investment, is about to start its first round of pilots in organizations.
